~ Verses In Red ~
Story
I started loving (then writing) poetry during my teenage years ever since I read some of Danielle Steel's short poems at the beginning of her novels. But the poem that brought this passion to a highly different level was Percy Bysshe Shelley's "Love's Philosophy" ... after which my poetic life will never be the same again!
I have since branched out to reading works of other classical poets, of whom my personal favorites are William Blake, Lucy Maud Montgomery, and Emily Dickinson, among many others; to some contemporary poets such as Lang Leav, Melody Lee, Michael Faudet, and Tyler Knott Gregson.
There's just something about poetry that touches you and speaks to you deeply and profoundly to your very soul ... and I hope my poems would resonate deep within your heart as well ... and find its way to mine.
